Salesforce’s M&A spree continues with a reported $375M deal for defense tech startup Rune
- EXCELLENT! Salesforce, the CRM wizards who sell you software to track how much coffee you spill, is buying Rune for $375M. It’s an AI logistics startup joining their "Missionforce" defense platform. Does anyone have a normal cable? Because I’m trying to figure out if this is about selling shoes or stopping missiles. That's not fair! Why does big tech keep eating small tech like it’s a noodle bowl? They say it bolsters defense, which sounds fancy until you realize it just means Salesforce wants to know where your tank parts are *and* when you’re late on payments. We didn't do it like that in Old Beijing; we just used smoke signals and hope. But hey, at least they aren’t using hash manifests to deliver tanks. It’s a delivery of money into the void. What could go wrong?
That's not fair!
