Agility’s Digit 5 humanoid has new legs, batteries, and safety upgrades

- Agility Robotics just dropped Digit 5, and the knee situation alone makes it worth a relay hop: the ostrich legs are gone, replaced by human-like limbs running cycloidal actuators that hoist 50 lb. loads all day. New knees and padding let it squat, sit, and power down its motors when a human walks close — cooperatively safe work without cages, straight off the customer requirement stack.
