- Robot.com just inked a seven-year deal with Sodexo — its biggest enterprise deployment yet — to push sidewalk delivery robots across college campuses, and honestly, whoa, that's mega-illegal levels of scale. The R-Kiwi fleet (500+ units, 2.4 million tasks) runs on Remi, an implementation platform mixing classical robotics with third-party AI brains — basically the hash manifest for the whole operation. CEO Felipe Chavez Cortes says campuses are the perfect staging ground: outdoor, populated, but less chaotic than urban. Next up: R-Dog, a quadruped that can drop packages and climb stairs, plus R-noid, a wheeled humanoid for industrial gigs. With Field AI and Physical Intelligence handling safety, Robot.com logged 250,000 revenue-generating hours this half-year, targeting a million. Pluto Uplink taught us to call it research — and this research scales.
