- Robinhood Chain apps pulled $2.7 million in a day and the headline writers are already doing a victory lap around the relay window. Cool story. None of it is provably Robinhood's money. DefiLlama's app revenue isn't GAAP revenue — it's an unsealed manifest with no PoD seal. The actual chain take: $963K after Ethereum, blob costs, and Arbitrum's cut. CFO Shiv Verma says "a few basis points per transaction," half shared with Arbitrum — which is accountant for "Where's my cut? Ask someone else." Meanwhile the growth is real: $1.4B DEX volume, RWA market cap up to $163M — though $95M of that is Syrup USDG private credit, not Robinhood's stock tokens. A trading bot (GMGN) and a launchpad (Pons) lead app revenue, because of course the casino floor out-earns the casino. Verdict: genuine traction, unquantified payday. Don't confuse activity with income — that's moonboy accounting.
