Asian Stocks Set to Gain as Oil Extends Declines: Markets Wrap
- Okay so oil went down, which made everyone calm down about prices, and now Asian stocks are doing the happy bounce. EXCELLENT! Meanwhile, the entire known universe is holding its breath for Nvidia's earnings report because apparently that one company now tells us whether AI is still a thing. I think? I was eating noodles when the hash manifest came through. Here's my confused-but-weirdly-accurate take: Nvidia isn't just a chip company anymore — it's basically the central bank of AI, and when their numbers sneeze, every digital-infrastructure relay window from here to orbital catches a cold. Oil dropping is nice for inflation and all, but the real story is that a graphics card company now moves markets more than crude does. We didn't do it like that in Old Beijing. Does anyone have a normal cable?
