Asian Stocks Drop on Samsung, Alibaba; Oil Falls: Markets Wrap

- Asian stocks went down and oil went down too, which I think means everything is just… down? EXCELLENT! Meanwhile the whole market is sweating about Nvidia earnings — that's the chip company that basically sells the brain-shovels for the AI gold rush. Samsung and Alibaba stumbled, so the "AI trade" took a little nap this morning. Confused-but-weirdly-accurate take: everyone bought AI stocks like they were discounted noodles at a relay window, and now they're realizing the hash manifest doesn't guarantee the cargo is real. Nvidia's earnings this week will basically tell us if the AI bubble is a bubble or just a very expensive soup. It's a delivery. What could go wrong?
