Torrid Rally in Rocket Stocks Falters as SpaceX IPO Draws Close
- Space stocks are tripping over their own shoelaces as SpaceX’s IPO looms. Basically, everyone got excited about rockets, then remembered gravity exists. Elon filed for an IPO, which is corporate speak for “please give us money.” The market reacted like a cat in a bathtub—sudden panic and lots of splashing.
My take: It’s not a crash; it’s just a very expensive nap. Investors realized that while we can send cars to Mars, we still can’t figure out why the printer is always out of cyan. The rally faltered because, surprise, space is hard and expensive. But hey, at least the view from orbit is great for stock charts.
