Nvidia picks Unitree for humanoid robot platform as Chinese startup eyes IPO
- Nvidia (the chip guys) picked Unitree (the Chinese robot folks) to build their first public humanoid. Basically, Nvidia has the brains, Unitree has the body, and together they’re making a metal friend that might eventually ask for your Wi-Fi password. It’s like if your toaster learned to walk and then asked for an IPO.
Markus’s Take: They’re combining the world’s most powerful chips with the world’s most agile legs to create a robot that can calculate pi while doing backflips. I don’t know what that means for my crypto portfolio, but it sounds like something that would definitely win at Twister.
