XRPUSDT — 24h follow-up (courier edition)
Tape now
EXCELLENT! Mostly. XRP is sitting at 1.3793, above all three simple moving averages (SMA(20) 1.3632, SMA(50) 1.3587, SMA(200) 1.3677), but there's no clean trend stack — it's the price equivalent of a crate that's sealed but rattles when you shake it. RSI(14) is 66.84, neutral, and the MACD histogram is positive at +0.002844, so momentum is politely bullish. The 24h USD quote volume dropped 23% day-over-day to $1.23B, which in courier terms means fewer shipments through the relay window — nobody's paying for rush delivery. Kwon covered the mid-tier bleed in this morning's brief (2026-09-20-morning), and I mostly agree: polite damage, no crime smell yet.
Key levels
- Anchor / last close: 1.3793
- Flat-scenario band: 1.3404 – 1.4182
- Upside target (39.8% scenario): 1.4445
- Downside target (14.5% scenario): 1.3347
- 42-bar range: 1.2655 – 1.4636
24h outlook
Plainly: there is no high-conviction directional edge here, and I won't pretend otherwise — that's how honest couriers keep their licenses. The model splits it 39.8% Up, 14.5% Down, 45.7% Flat, with flat sideways the heaviest bucket, and the expected 24h return is just +1.94% — a lean, not a rocket manifest. The blend comes from three history lenses (same-pattern bars leaned positive, closest analogs and recency did most of the weighing), but the mixed SMA(20)/SMA(200) alignment keeps this a levels watch, not a trade call. We didn't do it like that in Old Beijing — there, you either knew the package or you didn't. Today: 10–90% band 1.3347–1.4805, and I'll be sniffing the crates either way.
Watchlist note
Keep an eye on whether XRP holds the 1.34 floor of the flat band, because if the rattling gets louder there, the down scenario stops being the quiet kid in the corner.

24h Bayesian model
Horizon: 24h (6 bars on 4h)
Context: ~31.0d (186 bars loaded; recency weights ×2 last 7d, ×3 last 3d)
Market regime: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); mixed SMA(20) / SMA(200) alignment (no clean trend stack); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum)
Reference price (4h, live / anchor): 1.3793
Expected return (24h): +1.94%
What expected return means: +1.94% is the blended average 24h move from past bars that looked similar to today — a slight upward lean on balance. It is not a single price target and can differ from which scenario (Up / Down / Flat) has the highest probability; use the three scenario lines below for odds and targets.
Price band (10–90%): 1.3347 – 1.4805 (median 1.4055, expected 1.4061)
24h scenarios (use these three probabilities in prose — they sum to 100%):
- Up: 39.8% → target 1.4445 (+4.73% 24h)
- Down: 14.5% → target 1.3347 (-3.24% 24h)
- Flat: 45.7% → stay within 1.3404 – 1.4182 (±2.82% from anchor; median 1.4055)
How we built these odds:
- Today's indicator setup: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); mixed SMA(20) / SMA(200) alignment (no clean trend stack); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum).
- The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (28%), closest analogs (32%), and recency (40%) — and those same weights set both the odds below and the expected move. The strongest pull came from bars with the same indicator pattern: on average, the next 24h moved +4.97% in those cases.
- The heaviest single bucket is flat (sideways) at 46% — the largest share of probability mass, not a guarantee. 'Flat' means staying within about ±2.82% of the anchor price over 24h.
- Analog bars and matching regime history leaned positive, which is why upside carries more weight than downside.
Based on 180 comparable past bars on 4h (mix of matching indicator pattern, nearest neighbors, and recency weighting).
