ZECUSDT — 24h follow-up courier (Markus Zucker)
Tape now
EXCELLENT! Kwon was right in this morning's brief — somebody signed for the ZEC parcel, and the PoD seal is real: +14.29% on the day, $4.32 billion in 24h USD quote volume (more than doubling day-over-day). Funding flipped negative, so shorts are paying longs to stay in the trade, which to me sounds like paying a courier extra to keep holding the hot box. On the 4h chart, price sits at 1,362.32, above the SMA(20) at 1,190.48, SMA(50) at 1,170.03, and way above SMA(200) at 891.89. RSI(14) is 78.07 — that's the "noodles or a crime" reading, and I know that smell.
Key levels
- 1,378.70 — range high (42 bars); price is literally pressing against the top of the crate (%B 100.8, above the Bollinger upper band at 1,359.55).
- 1,321.45 – 1,403.19 — the "Flat" corridor, about ±3.00% around the anchor.
- 1,243.72 — the model's downside 10% band / Down target.
- 1,190.48 — SMA(20); first honest floor if the box gets dropped.
- 1,062.13 — range low (42 bars); the far end of the delivery zone.
24h outlook
Straight talk, like a guy explaining a fax machine to a friend in 1999: the model gives no clean directional edge here. The three scenarios are a near three-way split — Up 43.7% (target 1,466.28), Down 30.6% (target 1,243.72), Flat 25.8% — and the expected return is a modest +2.19%, which is barely enough to buy noodles on the orbital lane. The 10–90% band runs 1,243.72 to 1,568.92, which is a wide crate. The regime line says RSI(14) overbought, bullish MA stack, MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive — momentum yes, but stretched. So this is a levels watch, not a trade call; We didn't do it like that in Old Beijing, but even there, you didn't chase a parcel that's already this hot.
Watchlist note
If funding stays negative while price holds above 1,359.55, someone is paying real money to keep this delivery moving — I'll be squinting at that relay window like a man who knows it's either noodles or a crime.

24h Bayesian model
Horizon: 24h (6 bars on 4h)
Context: ~31.0d (186 bars loaded; recency weights ×2 last 7d, ×3 last 3d)
Market regime: RSI(14) overbought (above 70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum)
Reference price (4h, live / anchor): 1,362.32
Expected return (24h): +2.19%
What expected return means: +2.19% is the blended average 24h move from past bars that looked similar to today — a slight upward lean on balance. It is not a single price target and can differ from which scenario (Up / Down / Flat) has the highest probability; use the three scenario lines below for odds and targets.
Price band (10–90%): 1,243.72 – 1,568.92 (median 1,367.66, expected 1,392.16)
24h scenarios (use these three probabilities in prose — they sum to 100%):
- Up: 43.7% → target 1,466.28 (+7.63% 24h)
- Down: 30.6% → target 1,243.72 (-8.71% 24h)
- Flat: 25.8% → stay within 1,321.45 – 1,403.19 (±3.00% from anchor; median 1,367.66)
How we built these odds:
- Today's indicator setup: RSI(14) overbought (above 70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum).
- The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (0%), closest analogs (44%), and recency (56%) — and those same weights set both the odds below and the expected move. The strongest pull came from recent bars (weighted more heavily): on average, the next 24h moved +3.38% in those cases.
- The heaviest single bucket is up at 44% — the largest share of probability mass, not a guarantee. 'Flat' means staying within about ±3.00% of the anchor price over 24h.
- Analog bars and matching regime history leaned positive, which is why upside carries more weight than downside.
Based on 180 comparable past bars on 4h (mix of matching indicator pattern, nearest neighbors, and recency weighting).
