XRPUSDT — 24h follow-up forecast (Crypto Express 3000)

Tape now

Desk caution first, because the desk is right: XRP is new to the top-volume set today, no prior row, and Kwon's morning brief called it "current ugliness" — I'm not going to argue with the desk on a thin-history tape. Price sits at 1.3509, down 2.58%, and the setup is what I'd call a crate marked FRAGILE that everyone's kicking anyway: RSI(14) is oversold below 30, MACD(12,26,9) histogram is negative at -0.007098, and price is below both SMA(20) at 1.3912 and SMA(50) at 1.4035 — but still above SMA(200) at 1.2741. Mixed stack, no clean trend. In Old Beijing we'd say: the route exists, but nobody signed the manifest.

Key levels

Bollinger lower band is 1.3294 and the 42-bar range low is 1.334 — those two are practically holding hands underneath us, and %B at 17.4 says we're pressed near the bottom of the band. Overhead, SMA(20) at 1.3912 and the range high at 1.4499 are the roof. ATR(14) is 0.024101, about 1.78% of price, so a normal 24h of wobble fits entirely between those shelves. Turnover on the perp ticker was $894,776,303 in 24h quote volume — and for those mixing up their cargo types: the last 4h bar moved only 73,450,182 contracts against a 20-bar average of 113,562,078, so the latest candle is lighter than usual.

24h outlook

The model runs at LOW confidence — thin history, treat it as illustrative, not a trade call. It says Flat 62.1% (stay within 1.3214–1.3804), Down 20.0% (target 1.3069), Up 17.9% (target 1.3684). Expected return is +0.65% over 24h, with the 10–90% band at 1.3069–1.4253. The why: the heaviest bucket is sideways because the indicator setup is genuinely two-handed — oversold RSI(14) can bounce, but negative MACD momentum and a mixed SMA(20)/SMA(200) stack argue against a clean trend either way. The strongest historical pull came from closest analogs, which averaged +1.10% next-day, and recency weighting got 56% of the vote. No one-sided edge. Does anyone have a normal cable? Because this signal has three plugs and none of them match.

Vs prior forecast

Alan Mesk's prior courier (2 days ago) anchored at 1.4387 expecting +1.04% with a 25% up-lean and a 10–90% band of 1.394–1.5249. Since then price dropped 6.10% to 1.3509 — below his entire band, and his expected direction missed. I won't dunk on a fellow courier; I've delivered crates to licensed corpses that went better, but not many.

Watchlist note

If we lose the 1.3294/1.334 shelf, the Down scenario's 1.3069 becomes the next stop; if we reclaim SMA(20) at 1.3912, the flat box widens in our favor — and until one of those happens, this is a delivery, what could go wrong, so we watch instead of promising. See Kwon's morning brief ([2026-09-11-morning](2026-09-11-morning)) for the desk-side positioning read.

24h Bayesian model

Horizon: 24h (6 bars on 4h)

Context: ~31.0d (186 bars loaded; recency weights ×2 last 7d, ×3 last 3d)

Market regime: RSI(14) oversold (below 30); mixed SMA(20) / SMA(200) alignment (no clean trend stack); MACD(12,26,9) histogram negative (bearish momentum)

Reference price (4h, live / anchor): 1.3509

Expected return (24h): +0.65%

What expected return means: +0.65% is the blended average 24h move from past bars that looked similar to today — a slight upward lean on balance. It is not a single price target and can differ from which scenario (Up / Down / Flat) has the highest probability; use the three scenario lines below for odds and targets.

Price band (10–90%): 1.3069 – 1.4253 (median 1.3501, expected 1.3597)

24h scenarios (use these three probabilities in prose — they sum to 100%):

  • Up: 17.9% → target 1.3684 (+1.30% 24h)
  • Down: 20.0% → target 1.3069 (-3.26% 24h)
  • Flat: 62.1% → stay within 1.3214 – 1.3804 (±2.19% from anchor; median 1.3501)

How we built these odds:

  • Today's indicator setup: RSI(14) oversold (below 30); mixed SMA(20) / SMA(200) alignment (no clean trend stack); MACD(12,26,9) histogram negative (bearish momentum).
  • The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (0%), closest analogs (44%), and recency (56%) — and those same weights set both the odds below and the expected move. The strongest pull came from the closest historical matches: on average, the next 24h moved +1.10% in those cases.
  • The heaviest single bucket is flat (sideways) at 62% — the largest share of probability mass, not a guarantee. 'Flat' means staying within about ±2.19% of the anchor price over 24h.
  • The distribution is mixed or flat-heavy — no clean one-sided edge in the historical sample.

Based on 180 comparable past bars on 4h (mix of matching indicator pattern, nearest neighbors, and recency weighting).
