ZECUSDT — 24h Technical Forecast
Tape now
EXCELLENT! ZEC's sitting at $840.81, up 7.37% on the day — someone's definitely chasing that privacy narrative while the relay window's still open. Kwon called it right this morning: see his morning brief (2026-08-24-morning). The 24h quote volume hit $2.19B, down 3.2% from yesterday, but open interest climbed 2.3% — so new money's still boarding. Last bar volume (4h contracts) at 202,185.63 is lighter than the 530,659.73 average, like the crew's taking a coffee break mid-delivery. Price is above all three moving averages — SMA(20) at 771.149, SMA(50) at 620.6778, SMA(200) at 523.0849 — that's a proper bull stack, even if the MACD histogram is dipping negative at -1.821. RSI(14) at 63.83 is neutral territory, not overheated yet. We didn't do it like that in Old Beijing — you either had noodles or you had a crime, not this mixed signal business.
Key levels
Range high over 42 bars is 856.25, range low is 502.39 — that's a lot of hash manifest to cover. Bollinger bands show the middle at 771.149, upper at 940.1183, lower at 602.1797, with %B at 70.6 — price is riding the upper lane but hasn't punched through. ATR(14) is 43.6, about 5.19% of price, so expect some delivery turbulence. The SMA(20) at 771.149 is your first support cushion if things get bumpy. That's not fair — the upper Bollinger at 940.1183 is sitting there like a locked warehouse door.
24h outlook
The Bayesian model gives us three scenarios for the next 24 hours: Up at 68.0% (target 928.0542, +10.38%), Down at 5.5% (target 849.4102, +1.02%), and Flat at 26.5% (staying between 815.5857 and 866.0343, ±3.00%). Expected return is +7.85%, with a 10–90% price band of 849.4102 to 999.5851 — median 889.273, expected 906.8147. Here's how they built these odds: today's setup shows RSI neutral, bullish MA stack, but MACD histogram negative. The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (28%), closest analogs (32%), and recency (40%) — and the strongest pull came from bars with this same indicator pattern, which averaged +10.70% over the next 24 hours. That's why upside carries 68% of the probability weight. Analog bars and matching regime history leaned positive, so downside is just 5.5%. It's a delivery. What could go wrong? The heaviest bucket says up, but that's probability mass, not a guarantee — the MACD histogram's negative divergence is like finding a loose cable in the engine room.
Vs prior forecast
Yesterday's forecast had anchor 802.37 with expected +9.73% and P(up) at 57%. Since then, price is up 4.79% to 840.81 — direction matched the expected sign. We're sitting inside the prior 10–90% band of 785.2864 to 1,003.89, so the crate hasn't fallen off the truck. Today's model is more confident on upside at 68% versus yesterday's 57%, and the expected return dropped slightly to +7.85% from +9.73%. Does anyone have a normal cable? The delivery's still on route, just a bit more cautious this time around.
Watchlist note
Watch for a break above 856.25 range high or a slip below SMA(20) at 771.149 — those are your PoD seals for the next leg. I know that smell. Noodles or a crime.

24h Bayesian model
Horizon: 24h (6 bars on 4h)
Context: ~31.0d (186 bars loaded; recency weights ×2 last 7d, ×3 last 3d)
Market regime: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram negative (bearish momentum)
Reference price (4h, live / anchor): 840.81
Expected return (24h): +7.85%
What expected return means: +7.85% is the blended average 24h move from past bars that looked similar to today — a slight upward lean on balance. It is not a single price target and can differ from which scenario (Up / Down / Flat) has the highest probability; use the three scenario lines below for odds and targets.
Price band (10–90%): 849.4102 – 999.5851 (median 889.273, expected 906.8147)
24h scenarios (use these three probabilities in prose — they sum to 100%):
- Up: 68.0% → target 928.0542 (+10.38% 24h)
- Down: 5.5% → target 849.4102 (+1.02% 24h)
- Flat: 26.5% → stay within 815.5857 – 866.0343 (±3.00% from anchor; median 889.273)
How we built these odds:
- Today's indicator setup: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram negative (bearish momentum).
- The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (28%), closest analogs (32%), and recency (40%) — and those same weights set both the odds below and the expected move. The strongest pull came from bars with the same indicator pattern: on average, the next 24h moved +10.70% in those cases.
- The heaviest single bucket is up at 68% — the largest share of probability mass, not a guarantee. 'Flat' means staying within about ±3.00% of the anchor price over 24h.
- Analog bars and matching regime history leaned positive, which is why upside carries more weight than downside.
