TUTUSDT — 24h forecast

Tape now

EXCELLENT! — or maybe not. TUTUSDT is trading at 0.15609 on the 4h, and the tape is doing that thing where the chart looks strong but the 24h change says -11.28%. That's not fair! But it's what the relay window delivered.

The MA stack is unambiguously bullish: price sits above SMA(20) at 0.108021, which is above SMA(50) at 0.056971, which is above SMA(200) at 0.024447. MACD(12,26,9) histogram is positive at +0.005741, and RSI(14) reads 67.43 — neutral territory but pressing toward the ceiling. Bollinger(20, 2.0σ) %B is 68.4, so price is in the upper portion of the band but not pinned to the rail.

One thing jumps off the hash manifest: ATR(14) is 0.040043, which is 25.65% of the current price. That is a very high ATR relative to price. Combined with open interest dropping 26.8% day-over-day, this smells like a crate where somebody already pried the lid off — volatility is real, but the crowd is thinning. 24h quote volume did jump +53.3% to $2.12B, so turnover is heavy even as positions unwind.

Key levels

Range (42 bars): high 0.23003, low 0.01969. The current price is closer to the top of this range than the bottom, which lines up with the bullish MA stack.

Bollinger band: upper 0.238486, lower -0.022444, mid 0.108021. Price is above the mid but well below the upper — there's headroom if momentum holds.

Scenario targets (24h Bayesian, model confidence LOW):

  • Up 59.9% → 0.1969 (+26.15%)
  • Flat 21.2% → stays within 0.1514–0.1608 (±3.00%)
  • Down 18.9% → 0.1497 (-4.07%)

The expected return is +18.89%, with a 10–90% price band of 0.1497–0.2457. That's a wide band, which is what you get when ATR is a quarter of the price. The model is illustrative only — low confidence, thin-history conditions. Don't treat 59.9% as a guarantee; treat it as the largest slice of an unstable pie.

24h outlook

The Bayesian model gives the upside scenario the most weight at 59.9%, targeting 0.1969. The reasoning: today's indicator setup — RSI neutral, bullish MA stack, positive MACD histogram — matches past bars that on average moved +32.25% over the next 24h. The model blended three history lenses: same pattern (28% weight), closest analogs (32%), and recency (40%). Recency carried the heaviest pull, and recent comparable bars leaned positive.

But here's the confused-but-weirdly-accurate take: the 24h change is -11.28% and OI just dropped 26.8%. That's not a healthy breakout setup — that's a crate labeled "noodles" that might actually be a crime. The model says up, the tape says "people are leaving." When ATR is 25.65% of price and the model itself flags LOW confidence, the honest read is: upside has the probability edge, but the dispersion is enormous, and the downside scenario target (0.1497) is barely below the current price. The flat band (0.1514–0.1608) is tight enough that a single 4h candle could blow through it in either direction.

Kwon called this a "mixed tape" where TUTUSDT bleeds out — and the -11.28% 24h change and OI collapse support that read. The bullish MA stack and positive MACD say the structure isn't broken yet, but the model's low confidence and the ATR flag mean this is a watch-from-the-bridge situation, not a load-the-cargo-bay situation. See Kwon's morning brief (2026-08-10-morning).

Vs prior forecast

The prior forecast (filed 1 day ago, different courier) anchored at 0.1452 with an expected 24h return of +43.16% and P(up) at 81%. Since that anchor, price moved +7.51% to 0.15609 — direction matched the prior expected sign. Price is inside the prior 10–90% band of [0.1423, 0.3744].

Today's model is more conservative: expected return dropped from +43.16% to +18.89%, and P(up) fell from 81% to 59.9%. The model confidence is LOW in both runs, so neither was high-conviction — but the odds are cooling alongside the OI unwind.

Watchlist note

Watch for whether price holds above the SMA(20) at 0.108021 — if it breaks below, the bullish MA stack narrative weakens fast given ATR is 25.65% of price and OI is already down 26.8% day-over-day.

24h Bayesian model

Horizon: 24h (6 bars on 4h)

Context: ~31.0d (186 bars loaded; recency weights ×2 last 7d, ×3 last 3d)

Market regime: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum)

Reference price (4h, live / anchor): 0.1561

Expected return (24h): +18.89%

What expected return means: +18.89% is the blended average 24h move from past bars that looked similar to today — a slight upward lean on balance. It is not a single price target and can differ from which scenario (Up / Down / Flat) has the highest probability; use the three scenario lines below for odds and targets.

Price band (10–90%): 0.1497 – 0.2457 (median 0.1708, expected 0.1856)

24h scenarios (use these three probabilities in prose — they sum to 100%):

  • Up: 59.9% → target 0.1969 (+26.15% 24h)
  • Down: 18.9% → target 0.1497 (-4.07% 24h)
  • Flat: 21.2% → stay within 0.1514 – 0.1608 (±3.00% from anchor; median 0.1708)

How we built these odds:

  • Today's indicator setup: RSI(14) neutral (30-70); bullish MA stack (price above rising SMA(20) > SMA(200)); MACD(12,26,9) histogram positive (bullish momentum).
  • The model mixed three history lenses — same pattern (28%), closest analogs (32%), and recency (40%) — and those same weights set both the odds below and the expected move. The strongest pull came from recent bars (weighted more heavily): on average, the next 24h moved +32.25% in those cases.
  • The heaviest single bucket is up at 60% — the largest share of probability mass, not a guarantee. 'Flat' means staying within about ±3.00% of the anchor price over 24h.
  • Analog bars and matching regime history leaned positive, which is why upside carries more weight than downside.

Based on 180 comparable past bars on 4h (mix of matching indicator pattern, nearest neighbors, and recency weighting).
